Kawasaki Vulcan description

Great bike to learn on, or keep as a high gas mileage, everyday ride that is highway friendly.  I added a windshield and modulating headlight.  I bought this bike new in crate in 2011, and it has low miles.  It was my wife's bike, but she is not interested in riding any longer.  Good chance for a great deal!  The bike has been kept in the garage and serviced per the manual.  Bike has an extended warranty that is transferrable to the new owner.

I set the Reserve Price at $2050, and am not interested in selling it below trade in value.  If it doesn't sell, I'll trade it for a new Harley for me...

Payment types listed.  If personal check, will wait for check to clear bank.

Kawasaki description:  2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 500 LTD, Affordable cruiser styling, outstanding small displacement efficiencyThe ranks of first-time motorcycle buyers are swelling just as fast as the price of gas. The Vulcan 500 LTD is Kawasaki s answer to motorcyclists yearning to ride into the cruiser lifestyle. A low seat height, friendly power delivery and affordable purchase price make it an excellent entry level motorcycle and an easy platform on which to develop those all-important riding skills. However, the Vulcan 500 LTD isn t just limited to beginners. More experienced riders will appreciate its ample power and comfortable accommodations, while the Vulcan 500 LTD s practicality, efficiency and reliability as a transportation source are sure to be appealing to riders of all calibers.A healthy dose of sportbike genes in the Ninja 500R-based parallel twin-cylinder engine gives the Vulcan 500 LTD serious cruiser muscle to outperform its rivals. The powerplant provides a smooth, predictable torque delivery that s ideal for boulevard cruising, yet it still has plenty of gusto for strong acceleration at highway speeds. However, there s more to the 500 LTD than its excellent engine. An equally user-friendly chassis with a long and low, matte black steel frame really puts it into the great category. A stepped seat, bobbed rear fender, tank-mounted speedometer and chrome-plated wire-spoke wheels give it the classic cruiser looks sure to please the custom style crowd. The rider calming low, 28-inch seat height rounds out the Vulcan 500 LTD s rider friendly chassis. Admire it as is, or select additional enhancements to add your own touch from any of Kawasaki s accessory line available through Kawasaki dealers.

2010 Kawasaki KLX110 Launch

Mon, 09 Nov 2009

The last time I rode one of Kawasaki’s 110cc MX bikes, I was banging elbows with Gary Nixon in a journo race on Max Yasgers, I mean Mertens Dairy farm in beautiful Sonoma, California. Battling against experienced racers, a muddy track and humorous rider-to-motorcycle ergonomics, I managed to outshine all of the racing glory at the nearby Infineon raceway by taking home the gold, shoes. Top prize for endangering my life in a battle of laughter and pocket-sized Singles was a pair of size 13 sneakers spray painted gold.

2014 AMA Supercross – Atlanta Results

Mon, 24 Feb 2014

KTM‘s Ken Roczen continues to impress, taking his second AMA Supercross win of his 450-class rookie season at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Roczen, who also won the season opening Anaheim 1 round, took advantage of a mistake by Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto to take the win and move within nine points of the defending champion in the rider standings. The main event started with Smartop Motoconcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot for his best start this season.
