Kawasaki’s Vulcan 500 LTD is an excellent motorcycle for first-time buyers seeking entry to the cruiser lifestyle. With a low seat height, friendly power delivery and affordable purchase price, the Vulcan 500 LTD makes it easy to develop those all-important riding skills. Though it is compact and easy to ride, the Vulcan 500 LTD’s ample power and comfortable accommodations mean more experienced riders will still enjoy it practicality, efficiency and reliability as a transportation tool. Based on the same engine that powers the Ninja 500R sportbike, the Vulcan 500 LTD’s engine helps this cruiser outmuscle its competition. Its twin cylinder powerplant provides predictable torque delivery for boulevard cruising, while still offering plenty of extra muscle for highway trips. It takes more than an excellent engine to make a great motorcycle, so the 500 LTD’s chassis is equally user-friendly. A long and low steel frame contributes to its classic cruiser looks, and with a saddle that’s just 28-inches from the ground, it puts just about any size rider at ease. As for style, the Vulcan 500 LTD’s nod to the custom crowd includes a stepped seat, bobbed rear fender, tank-mounted speedometer and chrome-plated wire-spoke wheels. Check out this fresh trade-in. This 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 500 LTD has a low 3636 miles and is in really good shape. It runs, rides and shifts just fine and is ready to ride today. It has never been down or dropped and still looks like new. This is a perfect first bike or is a great choice as a gas sipping commuter. Kawasaki World Debut At AIMExpo

Mon, 11 Aug 2014

Kawasaki has chosen the 2014 American International Motorcycle Expo as the venue to make the world debut of a yet unannounced motorcycle model. The model launch will take place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, this October 16-19.  “AIMExpo demonstrated last year that it can serve as the ideal platform for media and brand activities and Kawasaki will leverage this grand stage to reveal new products, as well as interact closely with dealers and consumers,” explains Kevin Allen, Kawasaki Manager, PR + Brand Experience. “We have some very exciting new product to share and AIMExpo is the perfect place to make these announcements.” Attendees will also witness the North American introduction of all-new vehicles in several categories from Kawasaki. Following the unveilings, all products will then be on full display for all to see inside Kawasaki’s booth (#2165) out on the AIMExpo show floor.  “Kawasaki joins an expanding list of key companies that sees AIMExpo as the perfect means to infuse energy into the powersports business in North America,” says Larry Little, Vice President and General Manager, Marketplace Events Motorcycle Group.

Ninja Comes Back to Life

Mon, 27 Oct 2008

Kyle Dansie purchased his 1986 Kawasaki Ninja ZX 900 on eBay for $500. At the time, it had roughly 18,000 miles on it with only the tires, frame and suspension in working order. Kyle then managed to convert this motorcycle not only to run without gasoline, but to harness solar power to charge it.

Ninja H2 Video XVI – High Precision Machinery + Video

Tue, 14 Oct 2014

Yes, folks, Kawasaki has released yet another teaser video for the Ninja H2. This time, it’s number 16, titled, “Beauty in High Precision.” In it, we see the impeller for the supercharger being created from a solid piece of billet aluminum. Admittedly, this inundation of H2 videos is getting to be a bit much, even for us, but if you’re a fan of machine porn, then Kawasaki’s latest video will surely please.
