Kawasaki Vulcan description

No Reserve!
Selling my gorgeous 2006 Vulcan 900. I purchased this bike from the original owner who bought it from the dealership. Current miles are right around 2850. Never been dropped, and no dings or scratches.

This bike was professionally converted into a sleek bobber, but unlike many of the others out there, your getting a new bike with low miles and a strong 900 engine. The leather spade seat and kit is from Blue Collar Bobbers, along with the powdercoated drag bars and risers. This is not a cheap kit, it was made specifically for this bike and covers the entire battery tray. The rear tire is a brand new 230 width AVON tire with innertube. Oil has been changed with synthetic, new battery, and all maintenance up to date.

Brand new black powdercoated Vance and Hines Exhaust installed, sounds great. Baffles can be removed for an even louder sound.

Headlight has been swapped with an 8000k LED bulb, and taillight is custom mounted and from a Ducati 1098. The bike starts right up and the bike runs and drives strong. It is a very easy to ride and comfortable bike, I am just looking to swap back to sportbikes for awhile.

The gas gauge isn't currently functional.. I did the jumper test and the gauge itself works perfectly, it would just need another float popped into the bottom of the tank. It never really bothered me, but I can swap it if need be for the winning buyer. I also removed the pin for the gas cap key lock so it is a simple twist off. I can add the pin back in if the buyer wants to continue using the key to lock it.

I tried to be meticulous with this listing, the bike runs and rides great and needs nothing. If you were to add these parts to any Vulcan out there the parts alone would run you over $3k. Thanks!

Mon, 14 May 2012

BMW earned its first-ever World Superbike race win at the U.K.’s Donington Park, but missed out on sweeping the round after teammates Leon Haslam and Marco Melandri crashed on the final corner while battling for the lead in the second race. Melandri earned BMW its landmark first win in Race One leading Haslam in a one-two finish. They could have repeated that finish in Race Two but Haslam low-sided after making contact with Honda‘s Jonathon Rea trying to pass on the inside.
