Kawasaki Vulcan description

2002 Kawasaki Vulcan 750, GREAT BUY!!! - Vulcan 750 is an economically priced, mid-size cruiser that can hold its own on the boulevard. From its torquey V-twin engine to its chrome-encrusted bodywork to its low-slung riding position, the stylish 750 is an attention-getter, no doubt. And, because a barrage of touring accessories are available for the bike via Kawasaki’s Fire & Steel line, the versatile Vulcan 750 cruiser even passes muster on the touring circuit.

Snowjob

Sun, 05 Feb 2012

Is the current weather causing your commute a bit of problem? Sounds like a job for the Snowjob. Pictured here using a Kawasaki, the Snowjob conversion system turns your motorcycle into a jumping, wheelieing snowcycle in less than four hours. Derek Hine designed the Snowjob back in '73, but it looks like it could be just as handy today.

Isle of Man TT 2014: Sure Sidecar TT 2 Results

Thu, 05 Jun 2014

Dave Molyneux won his 17th career TT as he and passenger Patrick Farrance took the second Sidecar race of the 2014 Isle of Man TT. Molyneux is the career leader in Sidecar TT wins and third overall in total Isle of Man TT victories behind Joey Dunlop and John McGuinness. Molyneux and Farrance won the race by a good 44-second margin but they benefited greatly from a mechanical problem plaguing early race leaders John Holden and Andrew Winkle.

A Weighty Issue

Mon, 03 Nov 2008

For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.
