Kawasaki Vulcan description

This bike is a workhorse. Never any problems with it at all. Has a very slight ding on the gas tank, and a blemish on the pipes and a couple of very small paint blemishes on the rear fender. Religious with the PM on it. This motorcycle is being sold as is no refunds. It just got a full tune up and only did one ride to Islamorada for poker run since.

My wife loves this bike, we are the second owner and have had it for 9 years. We would keep it but are getting her a Sportster. I am really tempted to not sell it and take it to my family's house in Texas to have something for her to ride when there.'

Kawasaki Recalls Concours 14 for Rear Brake Problem A Previous Recall Failed to Fix

Fri, 27 Jul 2012

Kawasaki is issuing a recall for the Concours 14 for a rear brake pedal issue the company had previously tried to fix in 2008. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, road debris can get trapped between the brake pedal and a pedal guard, causing slight pressure on the rear brakes. The rear brake drag can cause the brakes to overheat, potentially leading to brake damage, a rear brake lockup or failure of the rear brakes.

Thu, 30 Jul 2009

Motorcycle communities are a huge resource for any kind of project or help you might need.  It’s incredible the amount of stuff people post and the effort they put into it! arturo3rd on Kawiforums.com posted some great tips and photos on how to shave down your motorcycle seat for a more comfortable ride. Things you’ll need: flat screwdriver pliers sharp knife(steak) rough grit sand paper staple gun I’m unsure if all motorcycle seats are made of the same material so be wary before you start if your motorcycle isn’t a Kawasaki.
