Kawasaki Vulcan description
1996 KAWASAKI VULCAN 1500 ***FIXXER UPPER***, This Vulcan 1500 is one of our 'Fixxer Upper' bikes that needs a little more TLC than we can give. This means that you mechanics or industry folks that get good parts discounts can get a smokin' deal on this bike and come out great on the bike! Here is the breakdown:THE GOOD: The previous owner decked this bike out! It comes with Vance and Hines 2 into pipe, jetting, Tinted Windshield, Backrest, Lightbar, Cruise Control, K&N filter, Highway Bar and pegs and floorboards. Tires are in good shape and the bike sounds KILLER! THE BAD: The transmission in this Vulcan was popping out of gear when we took it in so we rebuilt the transmission. (Service order documenting parts can be provided) Well apparently we missed something because the bike had been put back together and the transmission was very notchy to now not shifting above neutral. Probably an easy fix for a mechanic or someone mechanical but we can go no further with our investment. We would rather just sell it dirt cheap so our loss is your gain! Also has a dent in the tank covered up with a nifty bullet hole decal. Give us a call and we can hold the bike for your inspection!
