Selling a 2001 Kawasaki Concours 1000 in good condition. I purchased this bike last year from a doctor. I am the third owner of this bike. The tires are in very good condition with plenty of tread left. It has one small scratch and one small dent on the tank both of which could be covered with the bra it comes with. It comes with a tarp and bungee cords to secure it. It does have some rust on pipes and other small spots all of which I have tried to take pictures to show as accurately as possible. I have ridden the bike mostly to work and back. Im am forty years old and an engineer. This bike has not been abused. I also own a Harley and don't have much time to ride both. It has 14,211 miles on it. I just had the carbs cleaned and sinked up.This bike runs very well and is pretty quick. Any questions regarding anything I may have missed feel free to call 361-461-1322. Mon, 01 Jul 2013The 91st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is in the books, and while much of the media attention focused on Sebastien Loeb demolishing the outright course record, setting the first eight-minute lap with a 8:13.878 — over 90 seconds faster than the previous lap record —in his Peugeot 208 T16, history was made in the motorcycle divisions as well. Below are the times for all the motorcycle competitors in this year’s event. As expected, Carlin Dunne aboard the Lightning electric superbike, took top honors among all motorcycle competitors, marking the first time an electric motorcycle has done so.
