Selling a 2001 Kawasaki Concours 1000 in good condition. I purchased this bike last year from a doctor. I am the third owner of this bike. The tires are in very good condition with plenty of tread left. It has one small scratch and one small dent on the tank both of which could be covered with the bra it comes with. It comes with a tarp and bungee cords to secure it. It does have some rust on pipes and other small spots all of which I have tried to take pictures to show as accurately as possible. I have ridden the bike mostly to work and back. Im am forty years old and an engineer. This bike has not been abused. I also own a Harley and don't have much time to ride both. It has 14,211 miles on it. I just had the carbs cleaned and sinked up.This bike runs very well and is pretty quick. Any questions regarding anything I may have missed feel free to call 361-461-1322. Sykes Staying with Kawasaki Through 2016 WSBK Season
Tue, 19 Aug 2014Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes has signed a contract extension with Kawasaki to see him continue to ride for Team Green through the 2016 season. Sykes, who currently holds a 44-point lead over Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli with three rounds remaining in the season, has been with Kawasaki since 2010. Since hopping on board the Ninja ZX-10R superbike, Sykes has won 22 WSBK races and holds a record for 23 Superpoles in the current qualifying format.

Villopoto cemented his title with a win in front of 43,149 fans at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah, his ninth main event victory of the season and 33rd in his career. Though he led every lap, Villopoto didn’t have as easy a time in Salt Lake City as he has had in some races this season.
