Basket case motorcycle mid-seat frame mod, 2 cyl.Included:-2nd overhead cam-extra set of shocks-extra gas tank (my best guess is from a kz1100)-some misc gaskets -new chain, clutch cable -Kawasaki tank decals-steel frame slugs for rebuilding the seat frame-DOM seat hoop -some other miscellaneous partsIt started, moved and stopped when I bought it, I just decided to make it a big cafe racer project that I simply don't have time to finish. Would make a great winter project for someone with a little welding and mechanical know-how. Kawasaki Announces EVO Entry for World Superbike Championship

Kawasaki announced it will enter a factory-backed EVO-category entry for the 2014 World Superbike Championship. Kawasaki has signed David Salom to ride the EVO Ninja ZX-10R. The team will be run by the same operation behind the non-EVO factory team of Loris Baz and reigning WSBK Champion Tom Sykes, forming a three-rider Kawasaki factory lineup.

Ryan Villopoto capped off his fourth-consecutive AMA Supercross championship with an impressive victory at the season finale at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider clinched the title at last week’s New Jersey round so he didn’t have to prove anything in Vegas. But he did, leading all 20 laps and winning by nearly 14 seconds.

Stuart Easton has been the sole hope for Scotland in BSB since his friend and mentor Steve Hislop left us nearly ten years ago. Rat boy, as he’s known to friends, shone in the 125 and Supersport class and until his horrendous crash at the North West 200 last year was a serious contender for the 2011 BSB title. Many (including himself) thought his career may have been over but he astounded everyone by climbing back on the podium just a few rounds into the 2012 season.
