Kawasaki Ninja 636 rare special edition with track lap time recording (2005)
Rare orange Kawasaki ninja 636 series. Bike was barely used. I bought it from cycle world and has been garage kept. I need to get rid of it as I have bought a new house and can use the money. I did not ride the motorcycle this season at all except to turn it on to keep the new battery charge which I replaced it during winter time. I've got a KZ750R1 GPZ Cafe Racer project, the bike is a 1982 with 20k miles. I got it this year from the person who started the project, the bike was running fine. Over the summer I put maybe 150 miles on the bike, fixed a few things (new chain, new starter). Unfortunately the motor needs to be replaced or rebuilt now (the bike does not run) and I just don't have the time and am not a motorcycle mechanic (I am relocating to TX). But unlike the current parallel-twin Ninja 400, which is essentially a budget bike dressed in sportbike clothes, this newest model is worthy of the ZX prefix, as it boasts proper suspension, twin radial brakes, a full electronics suite, and chassis geometry inspired by its ZX-6R and ZX-10R siblings – oh, and let’s not forget – a compact four-banger that will rev to over 15,000 rpm!
