About the Power this Bike was Unbelievable fast and quick has the ability to throw Down Rubber on the street in 2 or 3 gear with a twist of throttle at will with no clutch touch at 4000 rpm + it would smoke the rear tire in 2 or 3 gear and was straight Down the street, I wasn’t really Much into drag racing it but, I did run it one Day it Ran Hi 10s Spinning tire Down the track so if it had a wheelie bar and Slick and air shifter it would have Been in the low 9s Easy . Overall a Good Riding Comfortable Head turner

    I'd hate to sell this beautiful classic motorcycle, but need to make room for other things.  This bike needs nothing.  This year the carbs were ultrasonically cleaned and synched.  The tank was cleaned and coated with Kleen.  I also put new steering bearings, upgraded to All Balls needle bearings instead of the crappy ball bearings they came with.  It has fresh oil in the engine and in the down tubes.  New plugs and air filter.  Tires have a few hundred miles in them.  It also comes with shorter chrome shocks if you wish to lower it.  The stock shocks are 13" and the shorter ones are 11".  The paint is the original 35 year old paint and it still shines.  The tank has a few minor dings (you'd have to look for them) and the clearcoat has faded a little bit in some areas. Like I said, it needs nothing, just a rider. Clear Ohio title on hand.

    This is a Fully restored 1972 Kawasaki S2 Triple 350 8800 miles, The bike has been in a barn for several years,I completely tore down the bike to the frame,This bike has a completely rebuilt motor, New Crank/Pistons/Rings/Bearings/Gaskets and Seals, the motor runs excellent but does have a small oil leak at the shifter shaft seal. The carbs were all rebuilt, I was able to purchase oem brand new carb boots for the factory air box. The factory exhaust does have some minor surface rust and damage but are presentable.

    I couldn't have chosen a better motorcycle to learn how to ride (with professional training).  Now that I'm confident (and have only enough storage room for 1 bike)  I'm looking to upgrade.  Let me tell you,  I cannot recommend enough that any first time motorcyclist get a good, reliable, larger CC, and fun starter bike.  The cost is cheap, and mistakes don't hurt the pocket book (and PRIDE) as much.  I've made one mistake with this bike.  After all the training I've received, I was never told about the releasing agent on the new tires.  Needless to say, while turning around, I laid the bike down. ....on the right side.  The fairing cracked a bit behind the turn signal.  The rear view mirror got a little scratched (buffed that out).  And the Ignition plate, exhaust, and throttle extension got scuffed.  None of the damage effected the drive and reliability of the bike.  Actually, wise planning for a possible event like this, protected me from what could have been ...a costly mistake.  I've ridden this bike for just over 2,000 miles now and a have had zero issues with it.  A very reliable bike.  My next bike will be a Kawasaki because of it. This is a rebuilt motorcycle.  I bought this from a gentleman who stated that the motorcycle was previously in a fire while being stored.  Evidently, a girder landed on the tank, ruining it and causing some singe to the wiring.  This is hardly noticeable, and doesn't even remotely effect the bikes operation.  The gentleman I  bought the bike from bought it from the company that rebuilt it.  He was skeptical, as was, I about  the bike.  Similar to my story, he brought a mechanic with him to look at the bike before purchase.  Since then, my friend (the mechanic who initially inspected the bike for me) and I had to replace the seals in the left shock, as it showed a small amount of fluid at the main gasket.  Other than that, I replaced the rear tire and the rear brake pads.   This bike still has low miles on it...obviously.  My drive to work is 12 miles to and from....and I've deployed 2 times since I purchased it.  Otherwise, it'd have more.  As you can see by the pics, it has a D and D muffler.  And it also comes with a Zero-Gravity windshield.   Both items came with the bike.  The bike stand and kick stand came standard with this motorcycle...an awesome standard feature.  Oh, I killed the last battery.  I bought a brand new Everstart last year and promptly depleted it by leaving the ignition on.  So as punishment to myself, and a benefit to you, It has a brand new battery (properly charged) and a trickle/maintainer charger tol go with the purchase.  I swear by battery maintainers!    Any questions, email back.  Look forward to hearing from you.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.

46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012

An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.

Kawasaki Reveals Supercharged Inline-Four Engine

Kawasaki announced it is developing what it calls the world’s first supercharger developed by a motorcycle manufacturer. The giant Japanese company called on its extensive experience in working with turbine engines, and distilled the technology for motorcycle applications, showing a supercharged Inline-Four engine at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. No details were given on the size of the sample engine, though diagrams included in Kawasaki’s patent applications for motorcycle superchargers include one image that looks vaguely similar to the Ninja ZX-14R.

Kawasaki J Electric Three-Wheeler Concept Revealed in Tokyo

Kawasaki revealed a new concept at the Tokyo Motor Show that appears to combine a rowing machine, a Tron Lightcycle and Yamaha‘s Tesseract leaning four-wheeler concept. Dubbed the Kawasaki J, the concept vehicle is an electric-powered three-wheeler that can change its shape to suit either a sportier or a more comfortable riding position. Instead of handlebars, the rider grabs a pair of hand grips that each connect directly to one of the two front wheels via two long levers.

The Estrella has been around since 1992 but apart from a few years of European availability in the late ’90s, has mostly been confined to Kawasaki’s home market. EICMA 2013: 2014 Kawasaki J300 Scooter Debuts at EICMA

At the 2013 EICMA show, Kawasaki revealed more details about the new J300, the brand’s first scooter designed for European markets. Join our Kawasaki J300 Forum Developed with Taiwanese manufacturer Kymco, the J300 scooter is powered by a 299cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, likely the same motor equipped on the Kymco Downtown 300i which claims an output of 29.5 hp and 18.1 ft-lb. The J300 may have some Kymco DNA but there are some distinct features that mark it as a Kawasaki.

Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.
