TTL INCLUDED ANY QUESTION CALL AND ASK FOR ELLISIt s a rare thing: a new-from-the-ground-up motorcycle that feels so right and works so well right out of the crate that it has the press swooning and owners crooning. These well-sorted but rare bikes are often described as happy motorcycles, and it s become crystal clear during the last year that Kawasaki s Z1000 completely redesigned in 2010 is a very happy machine. It s a realization that comes after just a mile or two in the saddle, and it s one that confirms the fact that this motorcycle s design team worked a special bit of magic during development.

Put a sting in your 2010 Z1000's tail

Fri, 19 Feb 2010

SCORPION has released an all-new new silencer for the 2010 Kawasaki Z1000.   The slip-on silencer requires no additional modifications: bolt on and go.Consistent power improvements throughout the rev range have been seen, with no adjustments to the fuelling, say Scorpion, with an average increase 3bhp.The new silencer has been acoustically developed to provide a greatly enhanced engine note.  This means the bike will be as loud as the original in terms of a dB reading, but the exhaust note offers a deeper growl. However, removable baffles allow the rider to dramatically alter the tone of the exhaust by simply removing one bolt per silencer.
