Kawasaki Other description

2009 Kawasaki Concours ZG1400, Up for sale: 2009 Kawasaki Concours14 motorcycle is in great condition has been a very good ride for the past two years. Mileage is around 15,000 and will increase as time permits. $7500 I am the second owner bought the bike from the PO with 1280 miles on the clock, bike didn't fit him and so he was switching to something else. This is my second C14 and I have been very happy with the performance and handling of this bike. Over the past four years I have travelled thousands of miles on the C14 from super slab to the mountain twisties and the bike has never let me down. I have taken the bike all over the western US. However it is time for me to sell, I am not going to be going on any long trips for the next several years so I am looking for a smaller bike. The bike was involved in a small accident in Montana last year with about 7500 miles on the bike. I went into a ditch and scratched up both sides of the bike. Insurance replaced all the plastics the saddlebags and the only hard parts that were replaced was the place where the bags mount to. I drove the bike home from Montana after it was repaired and have put almost 8000 miles on it since that time and the bike runs as good as it ever did I have not had any issues at all. Just recently came back from a two week trip to Colorado and put on over 3000 miles without a single hiccup. Bike consistently gets 40 to 43 mpg normal driving if you really run hard then that number will drop to about 35-37. WSBK 2012: Assen Results

Mon, 23 Apr 2012

The Netherlands hosted a dramatic weekend of World Superbike racing that featured a red-flagged wet race, several riders crashing while leading, a first-time race winner, a photo finish between two teammates and the reigning World Champion finishing out of the points because of a poor choice of tires. The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick.
