Kawasaki Other description

2009 Kawasaki Concours 14 ABS, Nicely Accessorized Supersport-Tourer!Powered by a fuel-injected liquid cooled 1,352cc inline four-cylinder engine, the Concours 14 puts 156 horses to the rear wheel, which propels you to highway speeds in the blink of an eye. The Concours 14 has long-distance touring in mind with it's relaxed seating position compared to a sport-bike, but doesn't sacrifice handling thanks to it's ZX-14 derived chassis. The previous owner of this particular Concours added an aftermarket bar-end style cruise control; simply rotate the right bar end back as you would the throttle and it will hold the throttle at any position. Also added was a set of lowered rider footpegs, which help relax the rider's knees on longer trips, and a Two-Brothers carbon-fiber slip-on, which gives an awesome sounding exhaust note. With just over 23,000 miles on the odometer, this ABS-equipped Concours has seen plenty of the continental US, but you'd never guess by looking at it. There is a small blemish on the left grab rail by the rider's seat (shown in photos), but other than that, you would never guess this Concours is pre-owned! Stop by our showroom today to schedule your free test ride!

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

On his first attempt at the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, road racer Jeremy Toye set a record in the premiere Open Class to win the category aboard a 2015 Kawasaki ZX-10R, celebrating the 30th year of the legendary Ninja brand. Prior to setting foot on the hill, Toye was confident he could get among the class leaders, aiming to beat the outright Pikes Peak motorcycle record, which was set by Carlin Dunne in 2012 with a time of 9:52.819. While that record remains intact, Toye was able to set a time of 9:58.687 to win the Open Class, finishing 6sec ahead of his closest rival, Fabrice Lambert aboard a Ducati.

AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days A Rousing Success

Mon, 29 Jul 2013

AMA members and motorcyclists from across the country celebrated the people, machines and sport of motorcycling at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, featuring the riders and champions of Husqvarna, over the July 19-21 weekend. The annual gathering of tens of thousands of motorcycling enthusiasts participated in vintage racing, took in numerous bike shows, met their motorcycling heroes, purchased vintage parts and motorcycles in the massive swap meet, spent time with old friends, and met new ones, all at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. The AMA and the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, which oversees the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, extend their appreciation to AMA members, racers, enthusiasts, collectors, restorers, fans, clubs, companies and others who supported the three-day celebration of motorcycling’s history and heroes.
