Kawasaki Other description

I can honestly say this has been my favorite motorcycle I have ever owned. Ride is smooth and the power is what you expect from a 1400 Sport Tour. This is the first year Kawasaki made the ABS and that's a great safety feature. Low mileage (24K) with brand new tires (both front and rear) and is  in good shape overall. I also added a Sirius m/c  console you can use with ear buds if you desire. There are minor scratches on the saddle bags but both are serviceable. upgraded windshield, foot pegs, and heated hand grips.

Report: Dorna to Replace Superstock Classes with More Stock-Inspired WSBK and New 250cc Class

Mon, 07 Jan 2013

The coming World Superbike racing season may be the last to feature Superstock classes as series promoter Dorna tries to differentiate its WSBK and MotoGP properties. According to Italian outlet Motosprint, Dorna plans to rewrite the World Superbike and Supersport class rulebooks for the 2014 season to make the race bikes closer to their respective production models. This would create further separation between WSBK and MotoGP, with Superbike racing moving closer to its production-based roots while prototypes racing in the GP series.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Daytona Results

Mon, 12 Mar 2012

James Stewart gave his 2012 AMA Supercross championship hopes a much needed boost with a big win in sloppy, muddy conditions at Daytona International Speedway. Heavy rains made the Ricky Carmichael-designed track in Daytona’s tri-oval section even more difficult than the GOAT conceived, with the terrain rough, choppy and rutted. Series point leader Ryan Villopoto became an early casualty of the track conditions, sliding outon the second corner.
