Kawasaki Other description

Ok, This is a great bike. It's got a Cee Bailey's wider and taller windshield. A set of handlebar risers. An installed set of lowered foot pegs. I have a second 12v outlet that bolts to the risers but I never needed it as the one on the fairing works for me. It has a Throttlemeister cruise control on it. I don't have the original windshield. The peg kit and handlebar risers are simple bolt ones so you can take them off in a couple of minutes if you chose to do so,

I just had the local dealer do a synthetic oil change on it and they installed a new battery, fresh Metz tires and did the recall items. The bike needs nothing other than some small cosmetic detail stuff.
I was getting around 42 to 46 mpg @ 70-80 mph. If the sale gets over $7,500 I'll throw in an XXL HJC Chaterbox helmet and a soft bag that fits on the pillion. The side bags will hold a helmet and lite jacket each. I never needed anything more on 4 day trips. I have a new K&N air and oil filters for it, both keyfobs, the owners manual and a cargo net.

There are a couple of scratches on the bags from catching the door jamb in the garage but a Color Rite kit will take care of that quickly. The dealer didn't put the tire psi sensors back in when the tires got changed.

I have this also listed locally in the Saint Louis area. Ok, for those asking, I set the reserve a bit over $7000 as I'm not going to give away a great low mileage bike that I just put $600 worth of tires on. If someone is in a hurry I'll put a Buy it Now on it if you'll cover the listing fee.

Reducing the seat height without lowering expectations Credit: Photos by Kevin Wing Entry level dual-sport has for a very long time existed in the void between categories, particularly when you consider folks who are shorter in the inseam. We all need to start somewhere, but for most who did not grow up riding, or maybe started exclusively on street motorcycles, the reality is that the entry-level engine size is often combined with the inability to comfortably touch the ground at a stop. That’s enough to deter all but the most stubborn of vertically challenged riders.

Josh Hayes Wins Fourth AMA Superbike Title

Thu, 18 Sep 2014

Say what you will about the depleted state of the American roadracing scene, it shouldn’t diminish the fact Hayes put in the effort and beat some formidable challengers to the title. Here, the AMA congratulates Josh Hayes on his accomplishment. Monster Energy Graves Yamaha’s Josh Hayes entered the 2013 AMA Pro SuperBike season on the heels of the most dominant campaign in the history of the series and with his primary threat no longer in the paddock.

Minor tweaks for one of the last supersports still in the game. But is it enough? Photos: Kevin Wing In recent years, what it means to be a supersport motorcycle has gone through a dramatic change.
