Kawasaki Other description

I currently have a 2007 Kawasaki Nomad 1600 for sale. This bike has less than 12,000 miles on it ! It runs and rides great, it has lots of tread on the tires, the clutch and brakes feel good, it shifts smoothly. I would ride this bike anywhere !It is equipped with stereo speakers, amplifier, I-pod holder & input jack. It also has Cobra slash cut headers and sounds great. The engine is a 1600cc Vtwin that is fuel injected, liquid cooled, 5 speed transmission. With 94 foot pounds of torque your never lacking horsepower !The fiberglass bags are great for traveling and are much nicer than and leather type saddle bags. This bike also has a luggage rack for even greater carrying capacity.Sale$ 7000Cycle World.Pensacola Military Discounts. New & Pre owned . 2014 Kawasaki KLR650 New Edition Revealed

Fri, 13 Dec 2013

Kawasaki revealed an updated version of its popular KLR650 dual-sport at the New York International Motorcycle Show. The new KLR650 isn’t exactly a full model-year replacement as Kawasaki had already announced the 2014 model; instead Kawasaki is calling it the KLR650 New Edition, offering it for a retail price of $6,599, a $100 premium over the “old edition” KLR650. The extra Benjamin Franklin gets you new springs for both front and rear suspension, multi-contour dimpled seat and revised graphics.

Old Dog, New Tricks: Tackling The LA-Barstow To Vegas Dual-Sport Ride

Mon, 05 Dec 2022

Joining the 39th running of the famed event on a Ducati DesertX and a Kawasaki KLX300 Credit: Photos by Cait Maher, Evans Brasfield, Grumpy, and Ryan Adams Let’s be honest, dual-sport motorcycles aren’t really designed for touring, despite my best efforts ( here and here). The bikes are merely street-legal dirt bikes without much accommodation for creature comfort. So, spending 220-ish miles flat in the saddle from Las Vegas, NV to Palmdale, CA, mostly on Interstate 15, is a platform for cataloging discomforts, and after riding approximately 360 miles, mostly off road over the two previous days, my aches-and-pains were legion.

A Weighty Issue

Mon, 03 Nov 2008

For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.
