Kawasaki Other description

2004 Kawasaki Z1000, Call SAM SCOTT for details! 760.433.4333 - Like an ancient Roman gladiator stepping into the Coliseum to do battle, the Z1000 Super Naked Bike returns to the 2004 Kawasaki lineup with minimal body work and hardware that expresses a very clear purpose. Radical in appearance and designed to function as a pure sport bike, the Z1000 backs its aggressive style with an in-line-four, DOHC 16-valve engine, which produces tractable power for hard acceleration in any rpm range. The lightweight, all-aluminum cylinder block, with chrome composite plated lining for wear resistance and superior heat dispersion are features borrowed from the Kawasaki Ninja sportbike line. Digital fuel injection utilizing 38mm throttle bodies and sub-throttle valves promote smooth, responsive engine operation with less fuel consumption. The high-speed 32-bit digital ignition provides precise engine management and enhances the fuel injection system.

Recall for 2011 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R

Mon, 25 Jul 2011

A recall has been issued on the 2011 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R due to a problem with the wiring harness. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a portion of the wiring harness on some 2011 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R models may get pinched between the subframe and the rear fender, or between the subframe and the bolt holding the seat cover. This may result in damage to the harness and wiring, potentially resulting in a short in the electrical system, which could cause the engine to suddenly stop.
