2004 KAWASAKI CONCOURS ZG1000, The Kawasaki Concours, known in Europe as the GTR1000 and in USA as the ZG1000, is a 997 cc, six speed, four cylinder, liquid-cooled sport touring motorcycle with shaft drive. The bike can reach speeds over 190 km/h (120 mph), offers nimble handling and – with its full fairing, tall screen, twin locking panniers, and 28 litres (6.2 imp gal 7.4 US gal) fuel capacity – is suited to cross-country two-up touring.This dark blue 2004 Concours is super-clean, has vented windscreen, tank bra, folding highway pegs, driver backrest with pouch, removable hard saddle bags and removable trunk. Kawasaki Special Edition Ninja Unveiled
Mon, 05 Jan 2009In addition to Metallic Diablo Black, Sunbeam Red and Candy Thunder Blue, the 2009 Ninja 250R will be available in a Special Edition Lime Green and Metallic Diablo Black combination. The great-looking paint scheme of the new Special Edition Ninja 250R which features Kawi green with black side panels, echoes the MotoGP ZX-RR. This is a strange time to release such a bike since the British motorsports site Autosport.com recently reported that the Japanese manufacturer will announce its withdrawal from MotoGP racing on Jan.
2012 Kawasaki Ninja 250R, Ninja 650 and Versys Pegged for Recall
Wed, 07 Mar 2012Kawasaki is issuing a recall for certain 2012 Ninja 250R and Ninja 650 sportbikes as well as the Versys 650 due to a risk of the passenger footpegs falling off. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the circlips on the footpegs’ mounting pins may break under engine vibrations, potentially leading the footpegs to detach. This poses a potential danger to the passenger.

Mon, 29 Apr 2013Monster Energy Kawasaki racer Ryan Villopoto demonstrated once again he is a the top of his sport, clinching his third-consecutive AMA Supercross championship. Villopoto cemented his title with a win in front of 43,149 fans at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah, his ninth main event victory of the season and 33rd in his career. Though he led every lap, Villopoto didn’t have as easy a time in Salt Lake City as he has had in some races this season.
