2003 Kawasaki Zzr 600, I'm selling my 2003 Kawasaki ZZR 600. I love this bike, but circumstances have changed and I need to sell it. This was a great starter bike for me, but still has plenty of juice once you get more comfortable. I got my permit last year, and have never had a hint of an issue with this bike other than the battery needing to be replaced. Put new tires on last year (about 1000 miles on them). Bought a new battery for it 6 months ago. Oil change 1000 miles ago. All lights, brakes, mirrors and hoses are in working order. I have kept my bike garaged to keep it away from the elements. We’ve posted about this before, but we thought it was time for a quick reminder about the first ever Kawasaki Ninja Nights which will be happening this Saturday July 12, 2014 from 4:00–9:00pm next to the Kawasaki display in the Marketplace of Mazda Raceway. Festivities will include a three category bike show, featuring one class sponsored by Motorcycle.com. Voting for the show takes place from 4:30–7:30pm.

NZ Superbike Series Points Leader Is A Grandfather Of Three!

Dennis Charlett is stamping his authority on the New Zealand Superbike championship. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.

With an upgraded Öhlins’ Race SCU (Suspension Control Unit), the Öhlins OEM-fitted steering damper on 2013-14 Kawasaki ZX-10Rs can now be ramped up to race mode. The Race SCU is programed to transform the Öhlins Mechatronic, electronically controlled OEM-fitted steering damper on the latest ZX-10R into race mode, allowing it to meet the demands of the track. From the factory, the Öhlins electronically controlled steering damper is tuned to be adaptive to a broad range of street riding, from parking lots to legal speeds.
