2002 Kawasaki ZG1000 Concourse, The Kawasaki Concours motorcycle combines the comfort and weather protection of its Voyager XII touring sibling with the performance, agility and styling of a Kawasaki Ninja sportbike into one of the most popular and affordable sport-touring machines on the market. This one has new tires on it, both front and rear. It also has a Corbin seat, and heated grips. Did you see the rear trunk? The windshield is a bit taller than stock, it has a Rifle windshield extender on it. It has a billet fork brace that has been installed also. 

 

The Concours is a sport bike that loves to tour. Fully equipped for travel with its cavernous saddlebags and monstrous 7.5 gallon fuel tank. Adjustable front & rear suspension offers the sport factor in your touring day.

The Kawasaki Concours motorcycle combines the comfort and weather protection of a full-dress touring machine with the performance,  agility and styling of a sportbike to make one of the most popular and affordable sport-touring machines on the market.

The Concours’ 1000cc liquid-cooled four-cylinder engine produces strong power throughout the range. A gear-driven engine counter balancer helps reduce engine vibration for rider comfort and increased electrical component life. Top gear in the six-speed transmission keeps the engine at a relaxed rpm at highway speeds, which adds to rider comfort on long-distance interstate rides. John McGuinness put another notch in his belt, capturing his 19th career victory in the Isle of Man TT by winning the Royal London 360 Superstock TT race. Despite leading all active racers in TT wins, the Superstock victory was just the first in that category for McGuinness. The Honda rider led from start to finish in the four-lap Superstock TT race.

Anthony West Can’t Afford to Pay to Race MotoGP, Mulls Retirement

The 2012 MotoGP season is still months away and the world championship has already lost an entry, as veteran Anthony West announced his withdrawal from the series because he cannot afford to compete. The 30-year-old Australian racer was included on the provisional 2012 MotoGP entry list to compete for the Speed Master team on an Aprilia CRT machine. But with the official pre-season test at Sepang, Malaysia, coming up next week, West says he will not race because teams are asking riders to pay too much to race for them.

Yoshimura Suzuki‘s James Stewart captured his third win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season and 48th 450 class victory of his career, tying him with Ricky Carmichael for second on the all-time win list behind Jeremy McGrath‘s 72. Racing before a crowd of 50,856 fans at Ford Field in Detroit, Stewart took the lead from holeshot-taker Cole Seely shortly before the end of the second lap and led the rest of the 20-lap race for the win. Stewart led by as much as 7.1 second but eased off at the end, crossing the finish less than two seconds ahead of Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto.
