Kawasaki Other description

2000 Kawasaki ZR-7, Sweet Naked Bike!! Plenty of miles to go!! - For those seeking a do-it-all naked streetbike with the appearance of a hot rod with its engine clearly visible, exciting performance and an affordable price, Kawasaki rolls out the new 2000 ZR-7. This naked machine puts its rider in a semi-upright riding position and is devoid of bodywork around the engine, yet there is just a hint of the famous Kawasaki sportbike influence in the styling of the shapely fuel tank and sleek tailpiece.

Former F1 Champ Fittipaldi Producing Limited Edition Kawasaki ZX-10R

Fri, 13 Jul 2012

Emerson Fittipaldi is probably best known for his four-wheel racing career which include two Formula One World Championships, a CART racing title and two Indy 500 victories. What might be less known, at least outside of his native Brazil perhaps, is Fittipaldi owns a pair of Kawasaki motorcycle dealerships. The 65-year-old former racer and his team has produced a limited edition run of 50 Kawasaki ZX-10R sportbikes in the black and gold colors of his 1972 F1 Championship-winning John Player Lotus 72 car.

Steam Punk Bike

Wed, 19 Jan 2011

This steam-punk inspired bike is the work of LA based sculptor and, er, free thinker, Baron Margo. From what we can work out is uses an early eighties air-cooled Z1000 Kawasaki as a base and is cloaked in this hand beaten alloy and copper bodywork. Can’t imagine it’s much fun in a cross wind, though.

Results From Day 2 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

World Superbike testing at Phillip Island came to a close today, and when the dust settled, reigning champion Tom Sykes stamped his authority, setting the fastest time of the test at 1:30.239, just five thousandths shy of the outright lap record held by Carlos Checa. The time was set during the morning session of testing, though nobody was able to best Sykes for the remainder of the day. Eugene Laverty, who was fastest on day one, showed his pace was no fluke as he stayed near the top of the time sheets, ultimately finishing second behind Sykes, with a best time of 1:30.513.
