Kawasaki Other description

Here we have a 1999 Kawasaki Drifter 1500, looks like #106 off the assembly line in 1999. Very low number if you are a collector. This bike has all the looks of an Indian Chief of yester year. 2 tone paint, Indian Chief head dress on tank sides. Indian runner light (not functional) front Indian fender guard and mudflaps front and rear fenders. The exhaust was made using the front lower Vance amp; Hinze pipe and the stock rear head pipe with the stock cover with boot guard. No baffle, it sounds great, have had other Drifter owners saying quot;they have exhaust sound envyquot;... I love the sound as you pull a hill in fifth gear, there is sooo much torque there is usually no need to down shift to pull the hill as you do on other brands Harley included. Gobs of torque! This bike runs as good as it looks. Kamp;N air filter, Kawasaki synthetic oil. Drifter with a solo seat only and is the seat made by Corbin for Kawasaki. The solo seat is stiched all in Leather, the original was vinyl, but this has been recovered in genuine leather, now having a distressed look, the nosebag on the windshield is also brown leather. Nice Harley replica windshield. This bike starts, runs and rides excellent. Does not leak oil. These Drifters are all about the look, many many people look and always think it is an old Indian. Once the question about quot;what year is the Indian?quot; is answered they often just say beautiful! So if you are ready to receive compliments everytime you ride, this bike could be right up your alley. The bike as it now sits is ready to ride, very good 500x16 Avon Speed/MastersTires having tons of tread left on them for years completing the Old Indian look.
