Kawasaki Other description

This is a very clean bike that you have to see in person to appreciate. Once you ride it, you will buy it for sure. It looks great and runs STRONG. 1998 Kawasaki KLX300-Stroker 360 Big Bore kit-Tusk Street Legal kit-SXT Exhaust Pipe-Acerbis 3.7 Gallon Gas Tank -Excel Gold rims-Maxxis Tires (100% tread - only ridden once)-Freshly tuned up (Rebuilt carb, new oil, new plug, etc)-Terrific condition all around-Title is clean and clearThere is nothing wrong with this bike. The reason I'm selling it for such a low price is that I borrowed money from a friend to buy an R1 yesterday that I got a really terrific deal on, but it's in my friend's garage until I pay him back and I want to take it home. I got such a attractive deal on it that I don't mind taking a loss on this bike so I can go get my R1.702-350-XXXX

Kawasaki Recalls Concours 14 for Rear Brake Problem A Previous Recall Failed to Fix

Fri, 27 Jul 2012

Kawasaki is issuing a recall for the Concours 14 for a rear brake pedal issue the company had previously tried to fix in 2008. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, road debris can get trapped between the brake pedal and a pedal guard, causing slight pressure on the rear brakes. The rear brake drag can cause the brakes to overheat, potentially leading to brake damage, a rear brake lockup or failure of the rear brakes.

Isle of Man TT 2012: Lightweight TT Results

Mon, 11 Jun 2012

Ryan Farquhar earned his third ever Isle of Man TT win in the return of the Lightweight TT class. Absent since the 2009 Isle of Man TT with 250cc machines, the 2012 iteration of the Lightweight class features 650cc twins such as the Kawasaki Ninja 650 (or ER-6F, as it’s known on that side of the Pond) which most competitors rode. The race was moved back to Saturday, June 9, after rain forced organizers to cancel the initially-scheduled Friday race.

2012 Kawasaki Versys 1000 Makes North American Debut in Canada

Wed, 11 Jan 2012

As we’ve previously reported, the new Kawasaki Versys 1000 will not be imported to the U.S, but it will be available in North America in Canada as a 2012 model. Kawasaki Canada presented the Versys 1000 at its display at this past weekend’s North American International Motorcycle Supershow in Toronto, for the new “adventure sport” model’s debut on this side of the Atlantic. While he can’t speak for Kawasaki USA’s decision making, Bob Calwell, district manager for Kawasaki Canada, he does note that the Canadian company does have a history of making different product selections.
