FRONT TIRE IS NEW, REAR ONE IS GETTING LOW BUT I HAVE JUST PASSED INSPECTION. BIKE IDLE AND RIDES NICE, SMOOTH OVER THE ALL 6 GEARS BUT MAY NEED FINE CARB TUNING FOR MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE. Kawasaki reported the fourth-consecutive profitable quarter from its Motorcycle & Engine business, with an operating income of 1.5 billion yen (US$14.6 million) for the three months ended Dec. 31, 2013. Through the first three quarters of its 2013-2014 fiscal year, Kawasaki’s Motorcycle & Engine division earned a operating income of 4.0 billion yen (US$38.9 million), compared to a loss of 2.0 billion yen over the same period in the year before.

Designed for kids ages 3 to 8 Kawasaki pulled the covers off its first ever electric vehicle, and as we expected, it is a new powered balance bike for young riders called the Elektrode. Designed for riders as young as three years of age, the Elektrode is positioned as an entry point for future motocross riders. The Elektrode is powered by a 250 W air-cooled, brushless motor mounted in the rear wheel.
