Up for auction a real nice 1990 550 zephyr this bike runs and rides great!!!!

This bike was only produced for two years!!!!

The gas tank has been professionally restored not just coated...

Also the carbs have been rebuilt as well

The paint shows a little fading but the bike is in very good overall condition

This is a chance to buy a great future classic that has a very reasonable reserve

It has the orginal owners manual and some paper work from the first time owner

This will make a great addition to a collection or a fun bike to drive as it gains popularity

2014 Kawasaki KLR650 New Edition Revealed

Kawasaki revealed an updated version of its popular KLR650 dual-sport at the New York International Motorcycle Show. The new KLR650 isn’t exactly a full model-year replacement as Kawasaki had already announced the 2014 model; instead Kawasaki is calling it the KLR650 New Edition, offering it for a retail price of $6,599, a $100 premium over the “old edition” KLR650. The extra Benjamin Franklin gets you new springs for both front and rear suspension, multi-contour dimpled seat and revised graphics.

45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013

Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.
