Kawasaki Other description

For sale is a completely reconditioned 1983 Kawasaki KZ1100 LTD. I am the 2nd owner of this low mileage (18k), well maintained muscle bike. This is the last year of the vaunted Z1 platform. Everything has been gone through and all electrics work as they should. The bike has a four into 1 header and Ramair filters which were designed specifically for the 34mm Mikuni CV carbs, which have been restored and jetted appropriately. Chrome is flawless. Paint is original, with some sun fade on the top of the tank but looks great. Original owner misplaced the side covers but I was able to source out a set on ebay (rare and expensive)and sprayed them black. New battery and rubber. Petcock restored. Good brakes. Replaced the high US bars for Superbike bars (have the original)and the flashers for some slick mini turn signals. This sweet machine is smooth and very powerful and is a great, last example of a Kaw DUAL OVERHEAD CAM air-cooled liter bike. The header gives this bike a great subtle roar.Photos don't do it justice.Price is more then reasonable considering the bike and its condition. Clear TX title. Can work out delivery if needed. If interested call Dave at

Oh hi there Mobil!

There was a time when Grand Prix racing was a lucrative affair, with the bikes and their riders resembling the fag packets that sponsored them. However, two unfortunate and costly blows hit the paddock; the banning of tobacco advertising in 2005 followed by the global economic crisis. The off-shoot saw grid numbers drastically dwindle with staple teams, like Kenny Roberts' outfit, and manufacturers, Kawasaki and Suzuki, succumbing to the events and disappearing.

Corbin Bleu Rides to Promote Free Style

Mon, 14 Sep 2009

If you’ve got a tween girl in your life you’re probably aware that High School Musical star Corbin Bleu has a new motocross-inspired movie “Free Style” coming out on October 9. Bleu and some of his co-stars were on hand at a Kawasaki event at Piru Motocross Park in Piru, California to promote the film and the actor/singer took to the track. Bleu got geared up and took a KLX110 and a KLX140 around the track to have a little fun.
