Kawasaki Other description

Up for bid is a 1983 Kawasaki 750 Spectre. This is the first bike I have ever owned and thoroughly enjoyed it. It does run but needs some starter work and a tune up. It has a 4 cylinder motor. Shaft Drive. It needs some cosmetic repair that I probably should have done when I bought it but did not have the time or expertise to complete. Tires are in decent shape. It has a custom backrest. I have never dropped this bike, but it was purchased used from a dealership who did not have details of previous owners. The front turn signals have been replaced with aftermarket LED signals. The originals were broken. This may make someone a great restore project as the Spectre is not a very common bike. This is also listed locally. Winning bidder is responsible for pick up. ANy other questions feel free to contact me.

It's Official: Kawasaki Announces The 2023 Ninja ZX-4RR KRT

Wed, 01 Feb 2023

Kawasakis latest pocket rocket will rev to over 15,000 rpm. Credit: Photos by Kawasaki One of the worst-kept secrets in motorcycling is now a secret no more: Kawasaki has announced the Ninja ZX-4RR KRT will be coming to the US in 2023, (hopefully) ushering in a revival of 400cc four-cylinder sportbikes that were all the rage in the 1990s. But unlike the current parallel-twin Ninja 400, which is essentially a budget bike dressed in sportbike clothes, this newest model is worthy of the ZX prefix, as it boasts proper suspension, twin radial brakes, a full electronics suite, and chassis geometry inspired by its ZX-6R and ZX-10R siblings – oh, and let’s not forget – a compact four-banger that will rev to over 15,000 rpm!

Motorcycle Results From The 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

Mon, 01 Jul 2013

The 91st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is in the books, and while much of the media attention focused on Sebastien Loeb demolishing the outright course record, setting the first eight-minute lap with a 8:13.878 — over 90 seconds faster than the previous lap record —in his Peugeot 208 T16, history was made in the motorcycle divisions as well. Below are the times for all the motorcycle competitors in this year’s event. As expected, Carlin Dunne aboard the Lightning electric superbike, took top honors among all motorcycle competitors, marking the first time an electric motorcycle has done so.

V.I.P treatment for first Dainese D-Air customers

Fri, 08 Jul 2011

To celebrate the release of the D-Air race suit in the UK, Dainese are offering the first 20 customers to order a complete V.I.P treatment at the upcoming World Superbike round at Silverstone. The iconic safety brand will have each of the customer's suits personally tailored, with measurements undertaken by a Dainese D-Air engineer from the factory in Italy. Following this, the first 20 customers to register will receive a hospitality lunch, garage tours of the Aprilia, BMW and Kawasaki teams with the opportunity to meet the Dainese riders and rub well protected shoulders with the big names of the WSB paddock.
