For sale by original owner. This will be a great bike for someone who has the skill and time to fix it up. This is a PROJECT bike, and is NOT RUNNING. It has been in the garage for years and needs significant work including carb rebuild, fuel tank clean and seal, brake master cyl rebuild, tires, battery (currently has no battery), and probably more. It is in serious need of a paint job. The bike was running great before I let it sit in the garage for several years. I tried to get it going again in 2007 but it wasn't running right, probably due to me changing the stock air box for custom air cleaners (see pictures). I took it into the shop and they changed the carb jets, but it still was not right. I rode it some, but then parked it in the garage again until this summer. I think if the carbs jetted properly it would have been running well. The bike is stock except for custom air cleaners, 4-1 header, handlebars, seat cover, and rear shocks. One side panel has one tab broken. Comes with one key, clear title, and Clymer manual. Please inspect the photos carefully before bidding. Feel free to ask questions. Ryan Villopoto Out For 2014 Motocross Title Defense
Tue, 06 May 2014Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto will be unable to defend his 2013 AMA Pro Motocross Championship title after opting to get knee surgery to fix a lingering injury. Villopoto battled with the knee issue throughout the Monster Energy Supercross season, and after consulting his medical team, it was decided he will undergo surgery on his knee as soon as possible. Monster Energy Kawasaki has signed the 2013 Canadian Monster Energy Motocross Nationals Champion Brett Metcalfe to join Jake Weimer for the 2014 AMA Pro Motocross season.
AMA Supercross: 2012 New Orleans Results
Mon, 16 Apr 2012Ryan Villopoto has already secured the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to let up and take it easy over the remainder of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer clinched his second consecutive title two weeks ago in Houston, Texas, but he continued his dominance in AMA Supercross’ return to New Orleans’ Superdome, taking the holeshot and leading all 20 laps for his ninth win of the season in 14 rounds. The New Orleans round may have lacked some big names currently nursing injuries such as Ryan Dungey, James Stewart and Chad Reed, but Villopoto provided a star effort in the first AMA Supercross race in the city since 2009.

A young boy when the late 70′s show made its debut on the air, I thought it was extremely cool to be on the California Highway Patrol, but especially so while riding around on a Kawasaki 1000. Erik Estrada even had a cool name and car on the show, going by ‘Ponch’ and driving a Firebird.
