Kawasaki Other description

1982 Kawasaki GPZ550 got it at an estate auction, all original in great shape. It has been sitting a couple years, starts and will run for a few seconds then shuts off. I believe the carbs. probably need some work but I have more projects the time to do then so I want to let this one go. The pictures don't do it justice as I didn't wash it before taking them. Inside of tank is rust free as you can see in picture, has a new battery, I replaced the petcock as it was leaking, everything looks in rideable shape once running problem corrected. Wheel are in fantastic shape on scuffs or scratches. There is one very small crack in  the seat cover can see if you look at picture closely. Other then that doesn't look to have ever been down and has normal wear.

Lascorz smiling in first post-crash photo

Mon, 02 Jul 2012

Nearly three months on since Joan Lascorz's accident in the post-race test at Imola, the first image has appeared showing the Spaniard in good spirits whilst he undergoes rehabilitation. The terrible crash left the 27-year-old factory Kawasaki rider with a fracture to his C6 vertebrae, and fears that it would leave him quadriplegic. Fortunately, as shown in the picture with his raised arm, Lascorz has recovered full sensitivity in his upper limbs.

Who To Watch In AMA Pro SuperSport

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

America’s road racing champions of tomorrow are racing in AMA Pro SuperSport today, and their season kicks off this weekend at Daytona International Raceway. With events on both Friday and Saturday, there are plenty of chances for glory for the 48 competitors entered. AMA Pro SuperSport is the most unpredictable class and the racing gives a chance for riders in the large fields to step up and prove they have what it takes. A great example is reigning AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Champion and current SuperBike pilot Cameron Beaubier, who cut his teeth in his two-victory, two-pole season in 2010.
