Kawasaki Other description

Time to let the toys go. For sale is my 1982 Kawasaki GPZ 550, only 7400 original miles. I've owned the bike since 1987. In the 29 years I have had it, I only put 2000 miles on it. I haven't riden it since 2012 and it was tuned up and new tires put on the year before. As you can see from the pictures, bike is in fair condition. I don't have the original air box, or turn signals. I was able to charge the battery and it fired up but it needs tuned up. Carbs will need to be cleaned.   The tank has two dents in the right side, one can probably just be pulled out, the other has a crease, so that will be tougher. If interested, I can send a link to a video of it starting and running.

Buyer will have to pick-up or arrange shipment.

New 1972 Kawasaki Z1 only £720

Fri, 29 Jun 2012

Looking at the pictures of Japanese firm Yamato's new Kawasaki Z1 you'd be hard pushed to tell it's not the real thing. But in fact it's a scale model only just over a foot long, made with incredible attention to detail with several years of development to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original 900cc Z1 of 1972. Using 3D scanning of real parts, the bike was scaled down to create this model, which has now gone on sale in Japan at an eye-watering £720 apiece.

Who To Watch In AMA Pro SuperSport

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

America’s road racing champions of tomorrow are racing in AMA Pro SuperSport today, and their season kicks off this weekend at Daytona International Raceway. With events on both Friday and Saturday, there are plenty of chances for glory for the 48 competitors entered. AMA Pro SuperSport is the most unpredictable class and the racing gives a chance for riders in the large fields to step up and prove they have what it takes. A great example is reigning AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Champion and current SuperBike pilot Cameron Beaubier, who cut his teeth in his two-victory, two-pole season in 2010.

Isle of Man TT 2012: Superstock TT Results

Mon, 04 Jun 2012

John McGuinness put another notch in his belt, capturing his 19th career victory in the Isle of Man TT by winning the Royal London 360 Superstock TT race. Despite leading all active racers in TT wins, the Superstock victory was just the first in that category for McGuinness. The Honda rider led from start to finish in the four-lap Superstock TT race.
