Kawasaki Other description

I have a BEAUTIFUL 1979 Kawasaki KZ 1000 ST up for sale. this bike is awesome! runs strong no issues. I just had my mechanic go over it and I am going to list everything he did for me on the bike to get it running as well as it does. The paint is near perfect like glass as you can see in the pictures you can see me taking the pictures its done so well. Over $1000.00 in paint alone and it shows. Has new factory Kawasaki rims and new Dunlop rear and front tires. the rear is D404 if your interested. No tears in the original seat looks great. Has factory Kawasaki exhaust but has been cut down fr appearance sounds real good and strong but not obnoxious at all. Has many original parts that will go with the sale of the bike. I do not have the original air box bur do have original mirrors that are in excellent condition. Here is a list of what my mechanic did to the bike: cleaned the carbs, synced the carbs and jetted the carbs. Fixed a valve cover leak. New Clutch and new clutch cable. New tack cable. The turn signals had a wiring issue that has been rewired and fixed. Flushed break fluid then also cleaned out rear master cylinder brakes. Installed new rear shocks (i have the originals if you want them). New battery. painted the motor and frame and changed the oil. This vintage Kawasaki is ready for the road. There is nothing you have to do except plate it and ride it! It is 39 years old please remember it is going to have a little rust here and there on the chrome but NOTHING serious just normal for a bike of its age! also forgot to tell everyone it comes with the chrome engine case savers and also the rear original fender that goes under the rear cowl.  please feel free to reach out with any questions you might have. Happy bidding and thank you for looking

French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011

Mon, 24 Oct 2011

Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.

Thu, 10 Apr 2014

Having won the opening two rounds of the 2014 Women’s Motocross Championship (WMX) – at the AMA sanctioned Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross at Daytona International Speedway in Florida, and at the James Stewart Freestone Spring Championship in Wortham, Texas, Australia’s Mackenzie Tricker comes into this weekend’s race at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California, with momentum on her side and a 17-point lead in the series standings. Round three of the Women’s Motocross Championship (WMX) will run in conjunction with the FMF California Classic, which runs from April 9 through April 13, with both WMX motos taking place on Sunday. So far, Tricker has won three of the four motos held to date, and the Yamaha-backed rider is hoping to pad her lead in the series standings with a good finish this weekend.
