Up for auction is a 1979 Kawasaki KZ750B twin. Clean and clear title, ready to transfer. 17,573 actual miles. This is a good complete light project. Bike was last plated in 2004 and has sat in a garage covered since then. I added fresh fuel and when on a battery charger the bike will start but will need carbs cleaned and a tune up. Clutch works and shifts thru all gears. Kickstart also works as well. Nice seat. Carbs move free and snap back with throttle. All electrics work, horn, indicator lights, signals, electric start. Key works in all locks. Custom 1970s paint job still looks great. Kawasaki fairing is painted to match. Front brake will need serviced and will also need a battery. The KX legacy began in 1974 with the KX250 which was based on the works machine ridden by AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer Jimmy Weinert in 1973. The KX Dirt Domination page highlights the successes of the KX line over the last 40 years, including its astounding run in AMA Supercross and Motocross over the last decade.
NZ Superbike Series Points Leader Is A Grandfather Of Three!

The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.
Kawasaki Reports Q4 2011-2012 Results
Tue, 01 May 2012Kawasaki reported a slight increase in sales while reducing the operating loss from its motorcycle and engine division during its fiscal year ended March 31, 2011. According to its year-end report, Kawasaki‘s motorcycle and engine business generated 235.2 billion yen (US$2.9 billion) in sales, a slight increase from the 234.4 million yen reported the year before. Kawasaki still suffered a loss from the division, though the loss of 2.959 million yen was still an improvement from the operating loss of 5.0 million yen reported the year prior.
