Kawasaki Other description
NO RESERVE AUCTION HIGH BIDDER WINS THE BIKE.
Up for auction is a 1979 Kawasaki KZ750B twin. Clean and clear title, ready to transfer. 17,573 actual miles. This is a good complete light project. Bike was last plated in 2004 and has sat in a garage covered since then. I added fresh fuel and when on a battery charger the bike will start but will need carbs cleaned and a tune up. Clutch works and shifts thru all gears. Kickstart also works as well. Nice seat. Carbs move free and snap back with throttle. All electrics work, horn, indicator lights, signals, electric start. Key works in all locks. Custom 1970s paint job still looks great. Kawasaki fairing is painted to match. Front brake will need serviced and will also need a battery. See pics and feel free to message with any questions or to see the bike in person. Sold as is, no warranty. Non-refundable $200 deposit via paypal within 24 hrs. Full payment via cash or cashiers check within 7 days. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, I can hold until arrangements can be made and coordinate with shipper of your choice. International buyers welcome, payment via wire transfer. |

Simon and Leo
Thu, 11 Aug 2011If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.
