For Sale is my 1978 KZ1000 LTD in very good condition runs strong very fast.Paint is original and in very nice condition , the Clutch and Transmission are perfectly smooth.
The bike has many new parts including, Regulator/Rectifier,Horn,Hand Grips, new Mirrors, OEM Ignition Advancer,New OEM Starter Ignition Headlight Switch, Spark Plugs and Caps, Point &Condensor, Mac 4 into 2 Exhaust, and a brand new Interstate sealed case Battery. The Head and Cylinders have been serviced, Honed new Rings, Head has been serviced wirh all new oil seals, Cam Chain Idler sprockets, Idler assembly,Tensioner, and all new rubber dampers. The Carburetors are completely cleaned rebuilt and have been modified with Dynajet Stage 3 to accommodate the Pods. The Bike will need new tires . The bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this Auction at any time due to this. I do not ship so the buyer must arrange shipment and pay a $500.00 non refundable deposit at Auction end with full remaining payment paid within 48 hours of Auction end .Selling in the lower 48 US states only ... K-Tech release 25SSK for Big Piston Forks
Mon, 21 May 2012K-Tech have released their popular 25SSK front fork open cartridge system to fit all Showa Big Piston Forks. Here's what K-Tech have to say about them: These lightweight aluminium units are supplied to the same exacting specification as all other 25SSK fitments with 14mm piston rods and a 25mm cartridge tube, the 14mm piston rods displace a large volume of oil through the 25mm control pistons giving enhanced damping characteristics over the standard Big Piston Fork and allow a bigger volume of air for a more precise feel at the bottom of the fork travel. The cartridge kits have compression and rebound adjustment in both legs and are supplied with 1.5mm Flow Control Valves for a more accurate adjustment, all necessary hardware is supplied to convert the Big Piston Forks to take the cartridges but it is necessary to order the springs you require as these are not included, customer price for the 25SSK cartridges is £725.00 + VAT and are available for the following models:- Honda CBR1000RR 2012 Kawasaki ZX6-R 2009-2012 Kawasaki ZX10-R 2011-2012 Suzuki GSXR600 2011-2012 Suzuki GSXR1000 2009-2012 Contact K-Tech on: +44(0)1283 559007.

Mon, 16 Apr 2012This year marks the 40th anniversary of the ground-breaking Kawasaki Z1 which made its public debut in 1972, becoming what many would regard as the world’s first superbike. Kawasaki’s first large-capacity four-stroke multi-cylinder motorcycle took center stage at the 1972 IFMA, the precursor to the INTERMOT show in Cologne, Germany. Together with the Honda CB750, the Kawasaki Z1 helped spearhead the popularity of the Japanese Inline-Four.
