Up for auction is my 1978 KZ1000A2. 31,1XX miles believed to be original miles. Engine Number: KZT00AE-069280 Frame Number: KZT00A-516123. Engine runs strong, shifts, and brakes as it should. No smoke. Everything works. Carbs have been rebuilt and tuned. Petcock rebuilt. Here is some additional information: Accel Coils 4 into 1 exhaust Brand new paint 95% tread on tires New emblems This is an unrestored bike but is very presentable. The 77&78 KZ 1000's are quickly becoming collector bikes as they are much like the Z1 900's with 112 more cc s. $500 Deposit due at the end of auction. 46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012
Mon, 25 Nov 2013An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.
