AN ORIGINAL 1976 KD100 MINI. GREAT LITTLE SURVIVOR. ITS PRETTY FAST FOR A MINI. STARTS RIGHT UP AND RUNS GREAT. I WOULD SAY BIKE IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION FOR ITS AGE. THIS BIKE HAS NOT BEEN SITTING AROUND SO IT HAS TYPICALL WEAR IN TEAR FOR A 40 YEAR OLD BIKE. SOME PITTING ON THE FORKS, SCRATCHES ON TANK AND SEAT IS STARTING TO SHOW ITS AGE. I HAVEN'T DONE ANY WORK OR MODIFICATIONS TO THIS BIKE OTHER THAN ROUTINE MAINTENANCE. . IM SECOND OWNER. THE ONLY THING THAT I CAN SEE THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN REPLACED IS THE PITCOCK. 2012 Kawasaki Versys 1000 Makes North American Debut in Canada
Wed, 11 Jan 2012As we’ve previously reported, the new Kawasaki Versys 1000 will not be imported to the U.S, but it will be available in North America in Canada as a 2012 model. Kawasaki Canada presented the Versys 1000 at its display at this past weekend’s North American International Motorcycle Supershow in Toronto, for the new “adventure sport” model’s debut on this side of the Atlantic. While he can’t speak for Kawasaki USA’s decision making, Bob Calwell, district manager for Kawasaki Canada, he does note that the Canadian company does have a history of making different product selections.

Thu, 09 Dec 2010These two beautiful Z1R Kawasakis appeared at the annual Mooneyes Yokohama Custom show last weekend. With one sporting a street/strip look (spot the belly-scraping ride height and rigid rear struts) and the other undergoing a sort of modernisation, they both reminded me just how handsome and unique the original slab-sided Z1R was. Judging by some of the other wild and weird exhibits I made a mental note to myself: must make sure I'm in Japan this time next year.
Randy de Puniet's custom W650
Fri, 16 Dec 2011MotoGP star Randy de Puniet commissioned Deus customs to build him a motorcycle for the streets of Sydney. Randy's brief was for a middleweight, 2-up twin that would be light enough to slice through the city streets and have the power for blasts on the open road, and have orange, black and white for the paint. Deus chose the Kawasaki W650, lowered it at both ends, fitted an SR500 tank, lobbed the old air box and added K&N filters, stuck on a custom 2-into-2 exhaust system and added low-profile fenders to finish off the clean and simple look.
