Kawasaki Other description
Have a 1975 Kawasaki KZ400 in attractive shape. Currently running, but unregistered. Don't have time to finish getting it registered and road worthy. Has great tires with 85% life. Seat has no rips. Rear section is customized and was this way when I bought it. No extra parts. Chain is decent. 12K miles. Newer battery. Charging system is healthy. Engine has great compression. Brakes are good. Come take it for a spin.Things done:- New rear signals lamps and wiring harness cleaned up.- New petcock- Brand New Mikuni VM30 carbs with UniFilters and one into 2 throttle cable- Brand new Accel Ignition Coils- New points with Hondaman ignition module (module regulates points firing to the coils)- New clutch cable- New spark plugsLooking for $1750 for it. Schoolboy Heroes
Fri, 04 Mar 2011A wet and grey day in Calais in 1992 wouldn’t be the obvious situation for a life changing experience, but for a 11 year old lad on a boring booze cruise from Dover this is exactly what happened. Pockets bulging with funny money I headed to the Tabac for the obligatory bangers, dirty playing cards and some sweets. Then it happened, I stood in front of the magazine rack and reached up, as if drawn by an external force. At the time I wasn’t tall enough for Playboy or L’ Escort so settled for a copy of Moto Verte, the French motocross mag. Life would never be the same again. Inside there was a double page spread, with a fresh faced Jeremy McGrath resting a leg over his #15 Honda CR125. Sporting a pair of fluro MX trousers with a, now retro, bright white surname emblazoned jersey, and casting an eye over a seriously vast motocross park. I stared at this Sinisalo advert all the way home, partly because all the articles were in foreign, but also because I was transfixed. What and how do I become a motocross champion?
Supercross Preview With Factory Kawasaki Riders Ryan Villopoto & Jake Weimer
Wed, 04 Jan 2012In anticipation of this Saturday’s Supercross opener in Anaheim, California, Kawasaki invited a select crowd of enthusiasts and journalists to join their employees at the corporate offices in Irvine, California, for the annual Team Monster Energy Kawasaki pep rally. We sat down with defending SX champ, Ryan Villopoto, and his teammate, Jake Weimer, to get their perspectives on the upcoming season. Both men entered last season at less than 100%.
2025 Kawasaki KLX230R / KLX230R S Review
Mon, 11 Nov 2024Designed to inspire addiction Kawasaki would like to think it knows its customer possibly better than they know themselves, and anyone invested in bringing new riders into the sport understands the importance of setting them up for success. A new rider’s first steed should be approachable, forgiving, playful, price-conscious, and cool. Kawasaki has set out to offer the perfect bike on all fronts, and in my opinion, they have succeeded.
