Kawasaki Other description

This is a 75 H2 widow maker. matching #'s bike. It was painted with house of kolors deep purple paint by a professional restoration auto body shop. The chrome is near perfect with clean rims, grab rail, bars, ft fender and everything that is chrome. The original rims have been respoked. The seat is original and in excellent shape. The engine was honed and new rings and gaskets were installed. The engine covers were triple polished and reinstalled with new gaskets. Fork housings were polished with new seals and dust boots installed. It also has the very rare dual front disc brake option. THIS IS A TRUE ORIGINAL KAWASAKI DUAL FRONT DISC BRAKE SYSTEM it is not a converstion. The front rotors have been cross drilled for additional performance. The carbs have been rejetted with pods to match the Bill Wirges chambers. I also have the original pipes and the air box. The pipes need to be rechromed. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Will the road-going RCV look like this?

Thu, 25 Oct 2012

Honda announced in a dry-as-you-like press release that a new bike was coming.  Not another motorcycle-cum-medical aid like the DN-01 or Integra, this is going to be a proper bike. A bike in a similar vein to previous bikes in the RC series, the RC30, RC45 and RC51, aimed squarely at winning races. So what's it going to look like?

2013 AMA Supercross Indianapolis Race Report

Mon, 18 Mar 2013

Ryan Villopoto continues to be in championship form, taking his third consecutive victory and sixth of the season with a win at Lucas Oil Stadium for the Indianapolis round of the 2013 AMA Supercross Championship. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider had a calculated, methodical race to take the win and expand his championship lead to nine points ahead of Davi Millsaps. Millsaps took the holeshot in a chaotic start to the main event that saw several riders go down at the opening corner.

A Weighty Issue

Mon, 03 Nov 2008

For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.
