1974 Kawasaki MC1-A(Mfg. 5/74) restored using NOS Kawasaki parts where needed, and some original parts left alone. Starts easily and runs strong with a rebuilt engine(3 miles total on rebuilt engine); using NOS Kawasaki pistons/rings.
Details of restoration: Powder coated frame. NOS front fender, front/back spokes, gas tank cap(optional key lock), front wheel Takasago 140x16 5A, Minor chrome pitting on handle-bar, top triple-tree bolts, left/right headlight turnsignal ears, upper forks but not where it travels up/down. Original headlight bucket paint has minor chips; gas tank original paint with minor chips, but no dents or inside rust issues. New battery. Original Nitto tires front/back. Rear, right side of tire has 7" crack in the rubber, and left side has a 4: long minor crack. Tread and condition of front tire very good, tread on rear worn down in the middle. Front fork dust covers are in great shape, and no oil seal leaks. Engine has no oil leaks, and the oil pump works. Lights, turn signals, speedometer/odometer works. Original rear wheel Takasago 160x14 4D 301 with minor chrome pitting. Original rear shocks has minor chrome pitting on lower part both left/right, but rest of shocks looks in great condition. Two small tears in the seat on right side of Original seat pan/cover. Has original owner's manual. Listing made me choose what type of title; I put clear, but it has no title. NO TRADES. $100.00 non-refundable deposit paid within 24 hours of auction end. Remainder and total payment is Accepted with a Bank Cashier Check, or cash. Bike will be released when funds can be verified; takes ten business days for a bank cashier's check. Buyer can then pick-up or have it shipped after two weeks of receiving bank cashier's check, or will release bike immediately if paid with cash. Bike looks good for being 42 years old, but it is not brand new dealership floor, right out of the factory looking. Very strong running bike, and always starts first kick. Please be patient if you email with a question and don't get an immediate response; but I will answer every question asked in due time. If you email the day of auction end you may not get a response; my only access to a computer is at the public library, and can only access the computer when they are open. Villopoto to Enter World Motocross Championship
Wed, 01 Oct 2014Four-time consecutive AMA Superbike Champion Ryan Villopoto is ready to move on to the next stage of his career, signing on to represent Kawasaki in the World Motocross Championship in 2015. Villopoto will race in the newly- christened MXGP class. Formerly known as the MX1 class, MXGP allows 450cc four-stroke machines and 250cc two-strokes.

Tue, 12 Jun 2012Max Biaggi strengthened his hold on the 2012 World Superbike Championship lead with a pair of wins at Italy’s Misano circuit. The Aprilia rider out-battled the Althea Ducati duo of Carlos Checa and Davide Giugliano to win Race One before taking a relatively easier Race Two victory. Before the races, WSBK riders lined up on the starting grid to hold a banner expressing their support for the Emilia region in northern Italy which has been suffering from earthquakes and continuing aftershocks since late May.
