I've had this bike a few years, it had a stuck valve and sat around. I had a new top end put in the engine a couple years ago, and have just been slowly bringing it back to life ever since New body work and reproduction exhaust from Z1Parts.net New tires, tubes, wheel bearings. front wheel re-laced new o-ring chain and sprockets new fork tubes, seals, shocks of course all new brake lines, pads and shoes re-chromed fenders restored original gauges new bars, switches and all cables new seat original air box and K&N filter Lots of new rubber grommets, bushings, etc Last pictures are of a brown 74 and a blue 75 I have that are close to completion and will be listed soon A lot of time and money has gone into this one. Kawasaki’s first large-capacity four-stroke multi-cylinder motorcycle took center stage at the 1972 IFMA, the precursor to the INTERMOT show in Cologne, Germany. Together with the Honda CB750, the Kawasaki Z1 helped spearhead the popularity of the Japanese Inline-Four.
Schwantz, Tsujimoto Team Up For Yoshimura Legends Team At 2014 Suzuka 8-Hour
Sat, 01 Mar 2014Former 500cc World Champion, Kevin Schwantz, will pair with former Japanese Champion, Satoshi Tsujimoto, in this year’s Suzuka 8-Hour race. The duo originally tackled Suzuka together in 1986, ultimately coming in third position. Now the two are back in celebration of Yoshimura’s 60th anniversary, as part of the company’s “Legend Team.” Yoshimura will also field a second entry with former Australian Champion Josh Waters and All Japan Superbike rider Takuya Tsuda.
