Kawasaki Other description
Restoration but pulled in pieces as a "parts bike" due to no title. Brought from seller in Cincinnati, Ohio, and had the means to make this bike running and rideable. However, like usual, time and money prevented the progress of this project. Only purchased the motorcycle for the matching numbers (VIN & Engine number). If you have any questions feel free to ask and the bike is advertised else where so the auction might end early. I have a trailer and happy to transport it to any neighboring States around Georgia for the double the fuel cost (I'm situated in Atlana, GA). Lastly, apologies for the average photos as the camera on my phone isn't the best. Bullet Points: - Most of the parts are present in the box (carbs, headlight, indicators, etc) - No EXHAUST pipes - No FRONT mud guard - Brakes don't work - Fuel tank is rusted - Pedals and gear levers are in the box - Wiring harness is in a questionable status - Motor is LOCKED (from sitting), but seems like it has never been apart - Bike rolls and the air in the tire holds - WD-40 was sprayed onto the engine case number for readability If there is anything else I'm missing let me know, otherwise I'll add on future details. Cheers |

Do WSB bikes need fake headlights?
Mon, 02 Jul 2012Next year's WSB bikes must carry fake headlight stickers to make them look like their road-going equivalents – and Kawasaki previewed the new look at yesterday's race at Aragon. The idea is to add to WSB's road bike links and to further distinguish the bikes from the latest breed of CRT MotoGP machines. However, it means adding meaningless stickers on a large and potentially valuable acreage of prime sponsorship space on the bike's nose, with much of the rest already taken up by the rider's number; not necessarily a good thing when money is already hard to find in international racing.
