Classic Steve McQueen era Kawasaki F11 250 Enduro time capsule Vin # F1129880 w/ matching numbers. Starts right up and rides great. 2800 miles. Original paint. The bike has had one owner besides myself and I planned to fully restore it but never get to it. It was garage kept but here in the Northwest metal gets a little surface rust from the condensation as you can see in the pictures. The pictures pretty much say it all. Mechanically and structurally solid with no functional issues. The things that need attention are front tire has the start of some storage separation near rim but is safely ridable as is, speedometer cable is separated from hub (done by me oops), the air filter was misplaced, the turn signal electrical needs to be hooked up, air intake side trim piece missing. Thats about all I can see. Lots of torque, shifts nice, good balance and shock absorption. Good travel in forks. Have original title and original owners manual. Pick up or shipping the responsibility of buyer. Arrangements can be discussed. Payment must be received within 48 hours of auction end. EnduroCross Announces Rookies Class Instruction With Destry Abbott
Thu, 15 May 2014Three rounds of the 2014 GEICO AMA EnduroCross Championship will feature a special rookies class led by none other than Destry Abbott. These one-hour, on-track instructional sessions will take place on the Friday nights before the Sacramento, Atlanta and Salt Lake City events. So the first one is scheduled for Friday, June 20th prior to the Sacramento event.
Kawasaki J Electric Three-Wheeler Concept Revealed in Tokyo
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Kawasaki revealed a new concept at the Tokyo Motor Show that appears to combine a rowing machine, a Tron Lightcycle and Yamaha‘s Tesseract leaning four-wheeler concept. Dubbed the Kawasaki J, the concept vehicle is an electric-powered three-wheeler that can change its shape to suit either a sportier or a more comfortable riding position. Instead of handlebars, the rider grabs a pair of hand grips that each connect directly to one of the two front wheels via two long levers.
