1974 Kawasaki  with original matching engine # H2E38988. Bike was restored by Gordon Wright of Ontario Canada in 2004. During that time updated:

  • Front brakes to dual disk brakes. Reworked front fork tubes added rear disk brake.
  • Wirges performance expansion chambers.
  • Rickman Fairing with heads up volt meter.
  • Engine all new seals carburetors have been re-jetted
  • oil injection pump also has been rebuilt professionally and setup on dyno
  • Gear case oil has been flushed and refilled with fresh Belray gear saver
  • Bike has always ran on Golden Spectrum 2 cycle oil and is not a smoker

 

 

Fresh Bridgestone battlax front tire.

  • Tank, Frame, and side covers have been professionally repainted
  • Overall is a very nice bike with tons of eye appeal and many updates. It starts on 2nd kick.

The first race saw the reigning World Superbike champion fight his way up from 11th place for the win while Race 2 offered a three-way battle between the two Kawasaki riders and Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli. Kawasaki Reports Q3 2011-2012 Results

Kawasaki reported a net profit of 33.7 billion yen (US$441.9 million) for the nine months ended Dec. 31, 2011, but its motorcycle and engine division continues to operate at a loss. The motorcycle and engine division, which also includes ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft and power products, operated at a loss of 4.58 billion yen (US$60.1 million) over the first three quarters of Kawasaki‘s 2011-2012 fiscal year, including a loss of 2.2 billion yen (US$28.9 million) in the third quarter alone.
