Kawasaki Other description

THIS BIKE WAS IN HEATED STORAGE FOR ABOUT SEVEN YEARS.  THE H2 WAS GIVEN TO THE PREVIOUS OWNER.  HE NEVER DID GET IT GOING.  I BOUGHT IT AND STARTED GETTING IT BACK INTO THE CONDITION IT IS NOW. I HAVE SPENT MANY HOURS AND A LOT OF MONEY TO GET IT RUNNING AND LOOKING LIKE IT DOES NOW. IT STILL NEEDS SOME FINAL TOUCHES. THE BIKE RUNS, RIDES, AND SHIFTS WELL.  THE HEADLIGHT AND BLINKERS ARE FROM A DIFFERENT BIKE.  I DO HAVE BLINKERS AND THE LIGHT BUCKET THAT BELONG ON THE BIKE.  IT'S MISSING STABLIZER BAR STRIP THAT GOES ON THE SEAT.  IT NEEDS KICK STAND SPRINGS AND EVERYTHING FOR HEADLIGHT EXCEPT THE BUCKET.  BEFORE I STARTED ON THE H2, EVERYTHING ELECTRICAL WORKED BUT THE HEAD LIGHT.  FOR SOME REASON I CANT GET IT WORKING.  I NEVER TOUCHED ANYTHING EXCEPT THE TAIL LIGHT WHEN I WAS DOING THE PAINTING.  I'M NOT GOOD WITH ELECTRICAL.  LOOKS LIKE EVERYTHING IS HOOKED UP RIGHT BUT THERES SOMETHING I'M NOT SEEING.  THERE MAY BE A SHORT SOME WHERE.

COSMETICALLY THE BIKE IS NOT QUITE SHOW CONDITION BUT VERY NICE AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICTURES. I ALSO HAVE A SET OF DENCO CHAMBERS THAT GO WITH THE H2.

I HAVE THE RESERVE AT LESS THAN WHAT I SEE THE H2S ARE GOING FOR BECAUSE IT STILL NEEDS A FEW THINGS.

AMA Supercross: 2012 New Orleans Results

Mon, 16 Apr 2012

Ryan Villopoto has already secured the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to let up and take it easy over the remainder of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer clinched his second consecutive title two weeks ago in Houston, Texas, but he continued his dominance in AMA Supercross’ return to New Orleans’ Superdome, taking the holeshot and leading all 20 laps for his ninth win of the season in 14 rounds. The New Orleans round may have lacked some big names currently nursing injuries such as Ryan Dungey, James Stewart and Chad Reed, but Villopoto provided a star effort in the first AMA Supercross race in the city since 2009.

Josh Hayes Wins Fourth AMA Superbike Title

Thu, 18 Sep 2014

Say what you will about the depleted state of the American roadracing scene, it shouldn’t diminish the fact Hayes put in the effort and beat some formidable challengers to the title. Here, the AMA congratulates Josh Hayes on his accomplishment. Monster Energy Graves Yamaha’s Josh Hayes entered the 2013 AMA Pro SuperBike season on the heels of the most dominant campaign in the history of the series and with his primary threat no longer in the paddock.

Teaser: 2012 Japanese Literbike Shootout – Video

Thu, 29 Mar 2012

The last time we assembled the superbike offerings from the Big Four Japanese manufacturers to determine the alpha male model was 2009. The CBR won that confrontation, but a lot’s changed since then. For 2012 Honda revamped the CBR1000RR, Yamaha added traction control to the R1, the GSX-R1000 lost a muffler and last year Kawasaki introduced an all-new ZX-10R.
