Kawasaki Other description

A fully restored early January 1973 Z1 in "as new" condition. Great lengths have been taken to ensure the details are correct. Engine Z1E 06118 has been rebuilt with new bearings, seals and gaskets. The correct early cylinders have new liners and rings with 1000cc stock type pistons that were installed by the previous owner. The correct head has been rebuilt by A.P.E. with new valves, guides, springs and seals. Cylinders and head decked to ensure tight fit. Compression is 140 +/- 2psi. The clutch has new OEM steel and friction plates in an excellent basket. Correct hollow cams and new cam chain/guides. Dyna ignition and coils, electronic regulator/rectifier. Frame, swingarm, fork clamps and tinware powder-coated. Rear fender and grab bar re-chromed. Switchgear has been rebuilt with OEM switches where necessary and is correct. ALL accessory items (brake rotor, switches, swingarm, torque link, etc.) are correct for the month/year bike. Carburetors are correct 1470's and have been completely disassembled along with the carb holder, throttle quadrant, linkage, springs, screws, etc., ultrasound and vapor blasted, all parts refinished, and rebuilt with OEM jets. OEM carb clamps. Look and function as new. Original bodywork with new $$$ paint in stunning Candytone Brown. Original Takasago wheels laced to original polished hubs with Buchanan SS spokes. New chain/sprockets. Tools and owners manual. Reproduction parts- exhaust system, rear shocks, turn signal bodies, wiring harness, carburetor intake boot, misc. rubber parts, seat cover, LTD mirrors (look much better!). This machine looks and runs as Kawasaki intended. 2023 Kawasaki Elektrode First Look

Designed for kids ages 3 to 8 Kawasaki pulled the covers off its first ever electric vehicle, and as we expected, it is a new powered balance bike for young riders called the Elektrode. Designed for riders as young as three years of age, the Elektrode is positioned as an entry point for future motocross riders. The Elektrode is powered by a 250 W air-cooled, brushless motor mounted in the rear wheel.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Phoenix Results

Ryan Dungey gave KTM its first ever AMA Supercross win, taking the holeshot and leading every lap in Phoenix, Ariz. With an audience of 49,236 watching at Chase Field, it was the field that had to chase Dungey during the main event. Dungey jumped out in front at the first corner followed by JGRMX Yamaha‘s Davi Millsaps and defending AMA Supercross Champion Ryan Villopoto of Kawasaki.
