Kawasaki Other description

I bought this two years ago because I had one in the Navy.  It ran great, but over the winter it sat.  I should have drained the gas, or at least started it occasionally but neglected to.
Now the battery is dead, and the gas has probably gummed-up in the tank and carbs.
With a quick going-through this one will be blasting down the road just like new.

HAS:
- Working Auto-lube (oil injection)
- Complete Allen Re-Bolt Kit
- Good Tires / Exhaust
- New Seat cover and Decals

NEEDS:
- Carbs / Tank must be flushed and cleaned
- Right Turn indicator looked at (probably a shorted wire)

No Reserve!!!
PAY PAL ONLY

Winning bidder must submit $500 via PAYPAL ONLY within 48 hours, or I will repost.
Balance due (CASH ONLY) when bike is picked up (within 7 days of winning bid)

I am not selling this locally, so you won't get it yanked out from under you.
Bid with confidence

AMA Supercross: 2012 Anaheim I Results

Mon, 09 Jan 2012

Ryan Villopoto picked up where he left off while Ryan Dungey gave KTM its first ever AMA Supercross podium as the season kicked off in Anaheim, Calif. Reigning champion and Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Villopoto took the holeshot and led all 20 laps to win the Anaheim I season opener by over 12 seconds ahead of Chad Reed‘s TwoTwo Motorsports Honda. “Villopoto made us look silly out here tonight,” says Reed.

A Weighty Issue

Mon, 03 Nov 2008

For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.

K-Tech release 25SSK for Big Piston Forks

Mon, 21 May 2012

K-Tech have released their popular 25SSK front fork open cartridge system to fit all Showa Big Piston Forks. Here's what K-Tech have to say about them: These lightweight aluminium units are supplied to the same exacting specification as all other 25SSK fitments with 14mm piston rods and a 25mm cartridge tube, the 14mm piston rods displace a large volume of oil through the 25mm control pistons giving enhanced damping characteristics over the standard Big Piston Fork and allow a bigger volume of air for a more precise feel at the bottom of the fork travel. The cartridge kits have compression and rebound adjustment in both legs and are supplied with 1.5mm Flow Control Valves for a more accurate adjustment, all necessary hardware is supplied to convert the Big Piston Forks to take the cartridges but it is necessary to order the springs you require as these are not included, customer price for the 25SSK cartridges is £725.00 + VAT and are available for the following models:- Honda CBR1000RR 2012 Kawasaki ZX6-R 2009-2012 Kawasaki ZX10-R 2011-2012 Suzuki GSXR600 2011-2012 Suzuki GSXR1000 2009-2012 Contact K-Tech on: +44(0)1283 559007.
