Kawasaki Other description

It doesn't get much better than this when it comes to kawi triples.  You're looking at a near mint 1972 Kawasaki H1.  It runs, rides, and looks just like it did when the original owner purchased it in 1972.  Other than a new battery, and maintenance parts, this is an all original bike including the factory paint.  The odometer shows 10575 miles and it comes with a clear title.  This is your chance to own a piece of history.  A lot of museum quality bikes like this are getting shipped back to Japan so don't let the chance to own this one pass you by.  If you have any questions, Call 812-322-1892.  I will be glad to work with any shipping company of your choice but that is your responsibility.  Payment terms are cash or money order due within 7 days of auctions close.  Storage is not a problem as long as the bike is paid for within 7 days of the auctions close.  The last time this bike was listed I had a lot of questions about the left side exhaust.  Yes there is a ding in it that can be seen in the pictures.  But once again you are bidding on an unrestored original bike with 10k miles.  It's been very, very well taken care of in all of it's 41 years but it does very minimal wear.  Please call the number listed above if you have any questions as I have limited access to email.

The J300 sports a broad front fairing, not unlike other maxi-scooters such as the Yamaha TMax or BMW‘s C600 Sport and C650 GT scooters.

Lascorz smiling in first post-crash photo

Mon, 02 Jul 2012

Nearly three months on since Joan Lascorz's accident in the post-race test at Imola, the first image has appeared showing the Spaniard in good spirits whilst he undergoes rehabilitation. The terrible crash left the 27-year-old factory Kawasaki rider with a fracture to his C6 vertebrae, and fears that it would leave him quadriplegic. Fortunately, as shown in the picture with his raised arm, Lascorz has recovered full sensitivity in his upper limbs.
