This is a 1972 Kawasaki H1 500. It is in very good condition. Some of what you read here is also found in the condition description. There is no rust. It runs well and is ready for show or the road. I customized it to follow the theme of a WWII fighter plane. The seat has been re-upholstered. I cleaned up the engine cases by doing an engine turn finish and jeweled the edges of the cylinder fins. Parts for these bikes are found mostly online and not at dealerships. I bought it in 2007 so I am not the original owner. It was well taken care of and has a clear title. The tank is in good condition and does not show signs of internal rust. I keep it topped off with fuel to prevent that from happening. I use this bike as more of a show bike than one to ride but it is rideable. These were the predecessors of the current sport bikes today. It is kept garaged and under cover. I want to sell it because I want to add space in my garage for an ATV and figure this should probably go. If you have any questions please respond to this ad and I'll get back with you. 2013 AMA Supercross Minneapolis Race Report
Mon, 15 Apr 2013Hometown hero Ryan Dungey put a stop to Ryan Villopoto‘s winning streak, taking the victory before 48,846 supportive fans at the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minn. The Red Bull KTM rider from nearby Belle Plaine, Minn., stalked Monster Energy Kawasaki‘s Villopoto for most of the race before taking the lead and winning the 20-lap race by just 0.903 seconds. The win put Dungey into second place in the standings ahead of Rockstar Suzuki‘s Davi Millsaps and perhaps more importantly, cut away at Villopoto’s points lead.
Kawasaki Ninja 250 Updated for 2013
Thu, 02 Aug 2012Kawasaki announced its 2013 Ninja 250 beginner model with an updated engine, ABS and ZX-10R-inspired styling. The changes come as Kawasaki faces competition in Honda‘s CBR250R which has stolen some of the Ninjette’s sales. The updated 249cc Parallel Twin engine receives new sleeveless die-cast cylinders as well as updated pistons, crankcases and a new exhaust.

Mon, 02 Sep 2019Now the Ninja 650 is stylistically similar to the Ninja 400, the ZX-6R, and the 'one-liter' Versys. The optics are LED, the visor is narrower and higher. The second upgrade is a new 4.3-inch TFT instrument panel that can connect to a smartphone via the Rideology app.
