Kawasaki Other tech info
Kawasaki Other description
1971 Kawasaki H1. This is an unrestored survivor bike. They're only original once and this once has been taken care of. I was told the original owner of this bike rode it in the Road America Race back in the day, but don't have any documentation. Original paint shines and looks great for a 45 year old bike. No dents anywhere. The pipes are solid but have some staining (mainly on the left pipe). Chrome on the rims, forks, headlight is all nice. Seat has a few stains but no rips I can see. The bike starts and runs but could use tuning (bogs off of choke). Pickup is Merrillville, Indiana 46410. I will ship, but shipping must be paid and arranged by buyer. Please see photo's and feel free to ask questions 219-702-6198. $500 paypal deposit due at close of auction. Please due not bid if you are unable to buy. Bidders with a rating under 10 must contact me prior to bidding or else their bids will be cancelled. |

Church of MO: 1997 Kawasaki ZX-6
Sun, 15 May 2022Twenty-five years ago, the 1997 Kawasaki ZX-6 had not yet grown an “R.” It came with a centerstand, dual exhausts, and weighed 430 pounds full of 4.8 gallons of unleaded fuel. The leaded stuff hadn’t been phased out until one year earlier, which may explain a lot about the mental condition of many of us Boomers. It was a great, inexpensive, do-anything motorcycle in other words.
Stuck for a gift? Solution No3: Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki or Kawasaki merchandise
Fri, 09 Dec 2011After the excesses of KTM and Harley's gifts ranges, Hondas seems tame. But even the sober Japanese firm has a handful of oddities in its line-up. The Japanese have been accused of imitating in the past, and Honda's incorporation of a baby's dummy in its official accessories catalogue mimics KTM's 'Silencer-System Mini Pro'.
