Kawasaki Other description

You are looking at possibly the cleanest F5-A Bighorn on the planet. If your looking at this ad, you know what your looking at. A painstaking 100 point restoration. A true award winning machine worthy of any collection, possibly the cornerstone of your collection.
Just finished this machine last week. Fine tuning done and 1 mile put on the build. Yes, the mileage is correct. gauges where done by Don Fusling, professional gauge restorer. Bike was totally disassembled. Frame and all the black parts powder coated to exact factory colors. Frame, swing arm, kick stand are gloss black. The rest are a flat black, as per factory specs. Rims have been re-laced with OEM spokes. Rims ARE original. I found the correct thread pattern for the tires, however, the new owner will receive the OEM Dunlap Trails Universals that came with the bike.  All cables replaced with Kawasaki OEM NOS cables. Yes, this is the real deal. All fasteners where cleaned and re-zincked. ALL new Kawasaki NOS engine cases! Carb. sports stock jetting. Bore was put back to stock 80.5mm. Original cylinder had a broken fin and was .050 over so I went back to stock. If the new owner requests the OEM cyl., it's his. Piston and rings are also Kawasaki NOS parts.  New Kawasaki NOS CDI box. Old one worked, looked like crap. New 6V battery.
Every rubber grommet has been replaced. And I mean EVERY rubber part replaced with Kawasaki NOS parts. Check my feed back, list go's on and on.
All chrome parts re-chromed. Over 2600.00 in paint and powder coating. Chrome work, well that's another story <rollin' eyes>.
Bike starts on the second kick cold, one hot. Runs outstandingly! Lights work, charging fine. I know I'm forgetting a few things, but rest assured, no stone was over looked. New seat cover, new tail lamp, again, Kawasaki NOS parts. Did I mention new brakes and clutch? Free and clear Fl. title in my name, actually the bike is registered now.
No disappointments here. I've been restoring old Jap bikes for over 15 years and have shipped them all over the world. My customers are truly dumbfounded at my attention to detail. You might say I'm "anal" about correctness.
This build is documented, as are all of my builds. I was only allowed 24 pics. Please ask any and all questions BEFORE bidding. I'm happy to answer all questions and send additional pics. Again, NO disappointments here.
Thanks for looking. $500 due by Paypal at the end of auction. Balance by Bank transfer. Shipping is up to you. I can store the bike for a few weeks, after that, a fee will incur.  If your serious about your machines this won't happen.

Mon, 14 Nov 2011

Interesting motorcycles you probably didn't see1 of 11Next Last There’s no cave deep, mountain high or rock heavy enough to have thwarted news of Ducati’s 1199 Panigale superbike launch at the 2012 EICMA show in Milan, Italy. And a few models such as Honda’s NC700S and X, Kawasaki’s Versys 1000 and CRP’s Energica were unveiled without heavy prior fanfare, but gasps of surprise weren’t heard when the wraps were taken off Triumph’s Tiger 1200 Explorer, Husqvarna’s Nuda or MV Augusta’s F3 675 among others, whose existences were revealed months in advance of the show. What we’ve comprised below is our list Top 10 Bikes unveiled at EICMA that didn’t receive top billing but are certainly worthy of your attention.
