1969 Kawasaki H1- no title, bill of sale and Georgia registration. Georgia doesn't issue titles on vehicles built prior to 1986 KAF-3016/KAE-3044 The good- Bike starts and runs as it should. Oil injection works, Repaint w RB decals- new air intake rubber Has original window carbs. New repro seat from Z1parts.net The Bad- needs fork tubes, spokes and tires to be nice Brakes work as they should. Clutch and gearbox work well Wheels, chrome and stainless fenders all look very nice Bike starts easy and can be ridden today International shipping available at reasonable cost Bike is listed for sale locally. 2014 AMA Supercross – Detroit Results
Mon, 17 Mar 2014Yoshimura Suzuki‘s James Stewart captured his third win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season and 48th 450 class victory of his career, tying him with Ricky Carmichael for second on the all-time win list behind Jeremy McGrath‘s 72. Racing before a crowd of 50,856 fans at Ford Field in Detroit, Stewart took the lead from holeshot-taker Cole Seely shortly before the end of the second lap and led the rest of the 20-lap race for the win. Stewart led by as much as 7.1 second but eased off at the end, crossing the finish less than two seconds ahead of Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto.
Motorcycle Thefts Down 11.2% in 2010
Wed, 21 Sep 2011Motorcycle thefts in the U.S. are down for the fourth consecutive year in 2010, according to a report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau. There were 49,791 reported motorcycle thefts in 2010, an 11.2% drop from the 56,093 thefts reported in 2009.
Speed and Fuel TV to Broadcast Kawasaki’s Zero to Hero Challenge Starting This Week
Tue, 14 Aug 2012Early this year, thousands of drag racers chased the dream and entered Kawasaki’s nationally-promoted “Zero to Hero Challenge,” hoping for the opportunity to face-off against multi-time champion Rickey Gadson and take home a new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R. Beginning this week, Speed and Fuel TV will broadcast the Zero to Hero Challenge across several time slots. Both cable networks will treat viewers to an inside look at the process all contestants went through on their way to challenging Gadson on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway drag strip in May.
